Poglądy i zainteresowania badawcze Władysława Tatarkiewicza (w 120.
rocznicę jego urodzin) 5
(120 anniversary of his birthday)
Taking the opportunity of 120 anniversary of Władysław
Tatarkiewicz’s death he/she attempts to ask a question „What philosophy
do Poles need?” and maybe to answer this question. The same question
asked Tatarkiewicz himself but it is being asked by anyone who wants to
practise philosophy as loving of wisdom. Looking on the basic
Professor’s interests, beginning from the philosophy history, continuing
with art and aesthetics and ending with ethics and axiology problems
makes us better acquainted with author’s personal opinions and is an
attempt of answering on the question included in the title. This answer
is expressed, among others, in the conviction that the joy of this love
and the happiness from the truth is non-separately bonded with the love
right and the truth increasing.

Spadkobiercy filozofii Józefa Marii Hoene-Wrońskiego 21
The author in his article focuses on three most essential
aspects of Hoene-Wronski’s philosophical work, which were then continued
in Polish philosophical thought. The issues of absolute (philosophy)
knowledge were presented first, then the problem of messianism, whose
creation is attributed to this philosopher, and finally his
historiosophical views. Wronski yearned to discover “the essence of
absolute”. He claimed that he grasped the secret of universe’s
beginnings and also its governing laws. Therefore through his whole life
he did not stop his efforts to reform human knowledge and create a
universal and timeless philosophical system, since he wanted to get to
know the irrefutable truth about reality; timeless truth, independent
from any conditions, besides itself. The conclusion contains fates of
Hoene-Wronski’s philosophical conceptions after his death.

Problemy aksjologiczne w filozofii Maksa Schelera 39
In the article the author presents his reflections on
ontological and epistemological status of values in a German
phenomenologist Max Scheler’s philosophy. The starting point for the
author is a division of facts which can be the subject of a human
experience. Each experiment is accompanied by emotions connected with a
feeling of duty. A human being for Scheler is not only a carrier of
values, which depending on accompanying emotions are more or less
important. The more spiritual the values are, the higher level they
reach in Scheler’s value hierarchy. The importance of a value primarily
depends on its duration, range, independence and deepness of feeling.
The values exist independently from the subject, which means that a
human being cannot create them, as they can only be discovered. The most
important value is love, as it is unselfish, must be experienced with
others and coexists with strong emotions. All other values derive from
love and that is why it is love that creates human history.

Esej jako następstwo pesymizmu teoriopoznawczego 49
An essay is such kind of a written statement which has not
any features defined precisely. The only thing which the essay can be
distinguished by is a characteristic outlook on life of the researchers
writing essays. The article presents relations between the process of
forming a new philosophical-literary discourse and growing tendencies of
“pessimism” in epistemology’s field. Even though the essay originates
from Sokrates’ dialogue, only at present times it has become a dominant
type both in philosophy and literature. “The invasion of the essay” is a
result of a new understanding of truth which does not allow anymore to
rescue our cognitive ambitions.

Problematyka tolerancji i nietolerancji w wybranych publikacjach
edukacyjnych i filozoficznych 67
and philosophical publications
Present socio-cultural, civilization and also constitutional
transformations shape the new model of life. The structure of value
changes in social life and individual tolerant. Toleration attitude is
the source of regularity in working. It joins with equality in treatment
the other man, it marks on distinctness agreement his opinions, feelings,
beliefs, customs, conduct. This attitude gives the possibility of
communicating, that is the skill of leadership of dialogue. It permits
to open on other man, to understand him, to accept with such, what it is.
Considering the content of articles I think, that the just the
school should educate the attitude of tolerance, and the teachers ought
to warn it by themselves. The skill of communicating with pupil,
education of ability to compromise and negotiation, it is the condition
of pedagogical success. The analysis of documents which made up the
received by me method of investigations to get acquainted with relating
the subject of tolerance literature as well as the setting between
teacher reports and the pupil, it permitted me to enrich the knowledge
about object of investigations. I am careful, that tolerance and
intolerance attitudes are skills on which influence has environment in
what we live. It shaping the attitude of tolerance should proceed so, to
construct on principle interactions of parity educational. Family and
school should be with example for formation of attitudes of tolerance.

Człowiek wobec zwierząt na przestrzeni dziejów 97
Appearing the man on the Earth decided about the fates of
many animals species. We will never see some of them any more, and can
find out about their life from wall paintings left in caves. The man
relation to animals is different in dependence since the epoch in which
he lives.
In the European cultural circle the report the man-nature gained
various interpretations, but in the thought horizon the special part in
creating the definite way of thinking of the man in the surrounding him
world, it fulfilled had, according to many explorers, the tradition of
Christianity.
At present the many formulated positions, it aims to the
revision of the thought attitudes, the hierarchy of the value and
conception which marked the existing direction of the development of our
civilization. The important is the elaboration of the new philosophy of
the development, enriched about conclusions resulting from the negative
experiences of our age.
„Anthropogenne” extinction species is the obvious fact,
destructive the man activity – also. So the man should doubtless show
more humility in the face of the surrounding him nature. He should also
understand that animals are the indispensable factor of our existence
and help people in various situations disinterestedly.
